Somalis Freed From Human Traffickers

Al-Obeid (Sudanow.info.sd) – Eleven Somalis, including eight young women and three boys, have been freed by police from human traffickers in North Kordofan State.

Sudan News Agency said the police of Jabrat al-Sheikh Locality in North Kordofan, in mid-western Sudan, on Monday freed from human trafficking gangs eight young women and three boys of ages ranging from 15 to 20 years.

Jabrat al-Sheikh Locality Police Director Col. Mu’tasim Mirghani Mohamed told the Agency that arrangements have been made for sending the victims to capital of the State, al-Obeid.

He said the arid desert of the north-western parts of the locality has been a field for various forms of crimes including human trafficking and drugs dealing.
